http://www.english.hadhramaut.info VP: Government to carry out outcomes of Hadramout local authority meeting [The Source: Mukalla/hadhramaut.info - 02/06/2009] Vice President Abduh Raboh Mansor Hadi said on Tuesday that recommendations of the sub-conference for the local authority would be carried out. The sub-conference was concluded on Tuesday attended by the vice president who confirmed in his speech that the government would receive the recommendations to be decisions and then to be implemented. During the sub-conference, I was briefed on certain issues which would be tackled legally, he said. Regarding works of rebuilding affected regions due to flood, the vice president affirmed importance of the cooperation between the governor, directors of district, and members of the local council to carry out these works. He insisted on importance of tackling negatives such as smuggling, calling on all for cooperation to combat this phenomenon.Hadi also insisted on protection of the national principles, republican system, democracy and unity of the nation. He highlighted other issues in his speech related to cooperation with fishermen and importance of developing the sea resources as well as piracy and Somali refugees.
