http://www.english.hadhramaut.info The Second Festival for Excellence honors 200 students In Mukalla [The Source: A-lmukalla/hadhramaut.info - 29/05/2009] Student  Charity and Welfare   Association organized  their second   festival  to  honor top students from various  schools, Institutes and Universities for the year 2008-2009 who excelled in their studies  which coincide with the Nineteenth anniversary . The event took place at the Bel-faqeeh cultural centre in Mukalla city ,hadhranmaut province.  second to honor the first male and female students in universities and colleges to maintain the medium for the academic year 2008 -2009 m to coincide with the ninth anniversary celebrations of our  blessed unity of Yemen. Ministry of Youth and Sports Undersecretary, Mr.   Abdullah Hadi  Bhianr delivered    (on behalf local authority) in which he welcomed all the attendees, conveying the  greetings of , Governor of Hadramout Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi ,was unable to attend this event, praising the Society and thanking them on their  continuous  efforts in taking  care for students, as well as encouraging  them to compete on the first and  of excellence as well as  innovation. He said that these steps will contribute to the advancement of the educational process, that received considerable attention from the government interpretation of the electoral program of President, His Excellency Ali Abdullah Saleh, President of the Republic stressing that Education is the basis for development and advancement of the future, urging students to make further efforts in seeking higher education in Universities and Institutes in order to build their future. The Festival was by President, University of Science Technology Hadhramaut Branch Mr. Alwi Saqqaf Alaiderous, Chairman, and Alaun Foundation for Cultural and Development, Dr.Adel Ba-hemeid, Members of the Local Councils, Government, and Deans of the faculties from Universities, social figures and the parents of students honored.
