http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Schedule for 19th National day celebration in Hadhramaut gets approval [The Source: al-mukalla/hadhramaut.info - 16/05/2009] The  second meeting of the Sub-Commission for the celebrations on Saturday approved  the timetable for Hadramaut events to celebrate the 19 National Day of the Republic of Yemen on  22nd May  and the launching of this activities in  the program which  begins  on Sunday.  During the meeting that   was held today in the city of Mukalla, headed by Governor Ahmed Salem Al- Khanate, a field committee was formed headed by the Undersecretary -Adamou governorate incharge of   the coast Mr.  Of Abdullah Awadh Hatem and all other relevant authorities. To follow up the service facilities and level of preparation for these events, Present during meeting, was the Secretary General of the local Council Said Ali Ba-yumein and   both undersecretaries Hadhdramaut province Awad Abdullah Hatem and Fahad Said Al-Menhali as well as members of the local government governing body.   The governor called for on preparatory committees to work hard and diligently for the success of the Nineteenth National Day event to be a   major public event.The program includes the opening and laying down foundation stone for a number of projects at a cost of about 11 billion and 77 million rails, including housing projects for members of the university hospital for Maternity & children as well as the teaching staff, University City mosque.  student housing, the drilling water  bore holes ,water pipes connections  and the ramifications of the city's university campus, and services, including the gate and the  University wall , total cost  amounting to about one billion and seven million riyals.  Also included in the programmed are  laying the foundation stone for a number fishing  projects costing  four billion riyals, as well Al-Saleh residential project  costing two billion Rials,  the project will have  400 housing units as well as to lay the foundation stone,  College of science,  dentistry and the Head office  for  Hadhramout University for Science and Technology,  cost of 4 billion and 70 million rials .In addition there will be a big  Carnival festival on Friday in the Parade Square in Mukalla will include several paragraphs  and sessions of cultural, sports, folklore  dances, and different songs
