http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Arrabi'ah: SAK, UAE supports humanitarian operations in Yemen with over $1 billion [The Source: SABA News Online \ Saleh Ahmed - Monday 22 / Jan. / 2018]           General Supervisor of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Actions Dr Abdullah Arrabi'ah declared Monday an overall humanitarian operations in Yemen of 2018.           Addressing a press conference held Monday evening in Saudi capital Raydh, Arrabi'ah said:" Saudi Arabia Kingdom(SAK) and United Arab Emirates(UAE) had provided $ more than$1 billion to finance the humanitarian operations in Yemen".           He went on saying:" These amounts would be allocated as follow: food security and agriculture $420 million, health $160 million, nutrition $ 80 million, water and environment $90 million, sheltering and non-food materials, Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) and immigrants $50 million, education $20 million, protection $10 million, rehabilitating society and employments $20 million, coordination and logistic services $30 million, Qatari Fund $50 million, early recovery program $70 million".           Dr Arrabi'ah gave a detailed list of the financial assistance the SAK provided to Yemen since May 2015 up to January 2018 which totaled $10.4 billion distributed as follow: relief assistance ( $1.054.193.142), Yemeni visitors inside SAK ($1.054.193.142), developmental assistance Yemen provided with $2.950.000.000., bilateral governmental assistance $2.275.718.347, $3 billion deposits in the Central Bank of Yemen.           He indicated that King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Actions provided 175 projects funded by total sum estimated at ($821.793.142) carried out in cooperation with 77 partners of the UN and non-governmental local and international organizations.           Dr Arrabi'ah has confirmed that KAS and UAE have provided one billion dollars, urging to secure the remain $500 million. amount.
