http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Yemen, Malaysia discuss academic cooperation [The Source: /www.sabanews.net - 02/05/2009] Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mohammed Mutahar held a meeting on Saturday with the visiting delegation of Malaysia higher education ministry headed Secretary-General of the ministry Thu al-Kafl Abdul Muhsen over higher education between Yemen and Malaysia. The two sides discussed achievements in field of the mutual academic cooperation between the two countries and a memorandum of understanding of higher education cooperation and scientific research that would be signed during the expecting visit for the Malaysian minister of higher education to Yemen next June. They also discussed means of improving quality of the education in the Yemeni universities and benefiting from the Malaysian experience and s exchanging scholarships and professors between the universities in both countries as well as funding joint scientific researches.
