http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Vital projects costing more than 3 billion riyals in Al-sheher [The Source: Al-mukalla/hadhramaut.info - 19/04/2009] Vital projects costing more 3 billion riyals are being carried out  in Al-sheher District Hadhramout Province, such as the Al-sheher -Al-maady- Redat Al-maa'rah tarmac Highway about100 kilometer long costing the government about one billion and 500 million, the project is being implemented by The Golden Company. Basic  Educational project in Araf Zone  a schools for basic education is being built   made up of six classrooms  with it's facilities costing  19 million Riyals    and the other   one is in   Wael ibn Hajjar near Hagab Zone  additional  five classrooms costing class rooms is being built costing  27 million Riyals. The Under- secretary for  the affairs of the province of Hadramout Professional Engineer Fahad Saeed Menhali  accompanied by the Director-General of the Directorate of  the Al-sheher -Mr. Salim Ahmed Ba- nakhar wae briefed  today on the progress of work done  in these projects as well as work on construction of Al-magad  Wadi Kharad  tarmac road  a distance of 30 kilometers  at an estimated cost  380 million  Riyals funded by the Government, the project is being implemented by Ba-gadin establishment  as well as to identify the level of achievement in the projects of 12 classrooms at Al-magad  school for basic education , 12 classrooms with its facilities , and the educational complex at Al-hami city  made of 24 classrooms together with its facilities.   The other is  project is the final touches  of Al-rashaad basic educational school, it is made up of 12 classrooms, the other  project is  to build additional  4 classrooms  to  Al-mellah Ba-taieh  secondary  in Al-hami.   In addition to the building of 12 additional classrooms for a school for Al-mihdhar School  in Al-sheher city,  the total cost of  all these educational  projects amounts to 429 million and 468 thousand riyals 0    During a visit to the Directorate of the Al-shehe the undersecretary was briefed on  the ongoing work of updating the supply of equipment to  complete the project of the  electricity network for the city   the Al-hami  and connecting  the electrical line to the main  Al-shehr General Electric plant  at a cost of  284 million and 25 thousand riyals financed by the government and implementation done by Sultan Bin Sweidan contracting  company  They also checked  the progress  done on the   streets tarmacing  of Al-sheher city,  Sheheir,  Eastern  Al-reidah and  Gussaiar at a total cost of one billion and 600 million riyals, the work is going to be done and implemented by  Bin Malik establishment,   as well as  the completion of the first phase of the Cor niche alongside  the west of the Al- Asheher distance of  3 kilometers at  a cost of 800 million financed by the government.  The Undersecretary  for the province of Hadhramout  technical Affairs,  Engineer Fahad Saeed Al-menhali  told  Yemeni news agency( Saba) that the aim of these field visit  was to identify the difficulties encountered in the implementation of  the infrastructure projects and  look for remedies also  to ensure the timely completion of such projects.  He  urged the contractors and the executing companies to resume work on the projects and to fulfill their  of the obligations for  the 15th National day celebrations, confirming the readiness of the local authority to pay allowances for  all projects approved and being implemented in the province and in accordance with signed agreements in accordance with the signed agreements.
