http://www.english.hadhramaut.info local water and sanitation establishment coastal area approved its investment of 2.2 billion [The Source: Mukalla/hadhramau.info - 07/04/2009]  The establishment of local water and sanitation,   Hadhramout coastal area approved its investment in 2009 an   amount of 2 billion and 200 million riyals, in addition to the action plan of the Institution   executive training programs, rehabilitation, maintenance and plan to cope up with this year summer season.  This approval took place during    the second meeting of the Governing Council, held today in Mukalla headed by the governor, President of the Council Mr.Salim Ahmed  Al-khanbashi..The meeting reviewed several  report on the  progress of work in the water and sewerage projects of  the Mukalla  and Al-sheher also the level of implementation of the investment plan of the institution for  the past year  2008 amounting to   one  billion and 750 million Riyals . Contained 15 projects.,Discussed in the meeting were the reports on the implementation of the plan, the level of financial, administrative , collection of debt and the operational activity of the establishment ,   the executive program ,plan of maintenance and operation of the  year  2008. The Governor, President of the Council expressed and welcomed the efforts made by the technicians and workers to create stability in the establishment for maintaining water provision to the public and the way the managed overcome the problems created the heavy rain, floods, and also the problems of the last summer.He also called for the creation of a strategic vision for all water services and strengthening   relationship between the establishment and the institution for   water resources in order to maintain to maintain the water stock in the province.
