http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Yemen partakes in meeting of AL delegates, EU ambassadors [The Source: SANA'A\Hadhramaut\Saba - Tuesday -02/Dec./2014] Yemen permanent representative to the Arab League (AL) ambassador Mohamed al-Hisami said on Monday that the new government formation was a step in the right direction to achieve the Yemeni people aspirations. Al-Hisami added, during the third joint meeting between the Arab countries' permanent delegates to AL and ambassadors of the European Union (EU) political and security committee held in Cairo, that the Yemeni government formation would contribute to the implementation of the Peace and National Partnership Agreement (PNPA) and the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) based on the GCC initiative with a view to achieve a better future for a unified and stable Yemen. He reviewed the developments in Yemen and President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi's efforts, which played an essential and important role in overcoming the apparent challenges ,sparing Yemen sliding into dire consequences and moving forward towards the completion of the political process and the transition phase. In his speech, al-Hisami stressed the need to maintain the unity of Yemen and not to interfere in its internal affairs. Al-Hisami called on the donor countries to fulfill their pledges and provide support and assistance to enable Yemenis to pass the current exceptional political ,economic and security circumstances. The donors' commitment to their pledges will contribute to the stability of the Yemeni state and its continuation in the fight against terrorism, piracy and organized crime and shouldering burdens of hosting more than 1.3 million African refugees on its territory, he added. Al-Hizami expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the GCC countries, EU countries and the United States to support Yemen and Yemenis.
