The meeting dealt with coordination in supporting female quota in the ministry and government media institutions, which will help in enabling woman in decision- making and contribute in improving her performance in different domains. Al-Sakkaf highlighted Oxfam's role on improving Yemen's image abroad and correcting the false and distorted reflection of the country. She stressed on supporting woman as a basic and active partner, side by side with the man, need to be enabled in having her rights in media outlets as stated in the National Dialogue Conference's outcomes. For her part, Oxfam's director briefed al-Sakkaf on the organization's activities in Yemen topped by humanitarian support and programs focusing on woman and health care. My visit to the ministry and meeting with minister al-Sakkaf is for getting acquaintance with the ministry's programs and activities, as well as for enhancing cooperation between the organization and the ministry in different related fields, said Oxfam's director.
