 Prime Minister Ali Mujawar and Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora.The talks dealt with bilateral cooperation ties between the two brotherly countries in economic, industrial, trade, investment, tourist, cultural and environmental areas as well as promoting machineries of institutional work between the two countries to develop the joint action volume and allow the private sector to take part in the economic partnership and serve the development in the two countries.The talks also addressed the developments in Gaza, Iraq, Sudan and in the region generally, in addition to the hazards of piracy phenomenon in Aden Gulf, African horn and Arab Sea and its negative impacts on the international trade.The two sides affirmed their support to the exerted efforts for setting security and peace in the Middle East according to the international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative, convicting the aggressive and terrorist acts of Zionist body against the unarmed Palestinian citizens.The two countries hailed Egypt's efforts to conciliate the Palestinian movements. They welcomed the decision of US President Barack Obama on stepwise withdrawing from Iraq.Moreover, Mujawar and Siniora highlighted the necessity to support the Somali government and the Somali Elected President to enable this brotherly country to reconstruct the state's institutions and bringing security and stability back to Somalia.They condemned again the decision of the International Criminal Court (ICC) issuing an arrest warrant for President Omar al-Bashir of Sudan, considering it as a critical precedence for interfering in the countries interior affairs and violating their sovereignties.The two countries also confirmed the necessity of evacuation the Middle East from the mass destruction weapons and subjecting Israel to the Non-proliferation of Nuclear Weapons Treaties, affirming the right of some countries to use nuclear power for useful purposes.
