Yemen is to participate in meetings of the 131st regular round of
Arab League (AL) at the ministerial level to be held on Tuesday in Egypt.Upon his departure, Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Muthana, who will represent Yemen in the round meetings, said some of the major topics the round would dealt with are Palestinian case, Arab national security and Arab relations with regional and international assemblies in addition to the several of issues of common concerns.He indicated he would take part in the meeting of the Arab peace committee to discuss the future Arab Peace Initiative in the light of the barbaric aggression on the Gaza strip and incessant Israeli aggression practices against the Palestinian people including destruction the Palestinians' houses, continuing building settlements and the separation wall to come out with a unified Arab vision on Israeli violations.Furthermore, Deputy Foreign Minister will partake in the joint preparatory meeting between Arab and South American States to be held on March 4th.Muthana said that the meeting would be dedicated for arranging for the second summit for Arab and South American Countries, which is aiming at strengthening cooperation between them in political, economic, social, cultural, scientific, vocational and educational areas.
