The attendees focused on the underway arrangements for the 8th ministerial meeting of the Group scheduled to be held on Wednesday in New York on sidelines of meetings of the 69th session of the UN General Assembly. The discussion dealt with the final draft statement to be issued by the co-chairmanship of the meeting. Following that, the co-presidency of Yemen Friends met in New York with representatives of the member countries and organizations in the group. In the meeting, the participants were briefed on the latest arrangements of the meeting and answering their questions in this regard. The representatives of Yemen Friends expressed their satisfaction with the level of preparation for the Group's 8th ministerial meeting, affirming the keenness of their countries’ governments and the international organizations on the success of the meeting and to achieve the desired results.
