http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Malaysian delegation due in Yemen Friday [The Source: www.sabanews.net - 25/2/2009] A high-ranking Malaysian delegation is due in Yemen on Friday to launch tourism, Industrial and academic investment projects in the city of Mukala.
The projects will be implemented in two phases, the first of which at a cost of $ 10 million.
Yemen's ambassador to Malaysia Abdullah al-Muntasir said the delegation would be led by chairman of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia and will include Malaysian investors, engineers and technical teams.
As they arrive in Yemen they will start the implementation of three projects including hotels, conference hall, exhibitions and a concrete plant.
During the second phase, Malaysian investors will build a tourist college to be the first investment college in the country that will teach tourism and hotelity.
During the eight-day visit, the Malaysian delegation will meet with governor of Hadramout and officials at the General Authority for Investment.
The delegation will also open an office for Malaysian Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Yemen's economic and trade capital of Aden.
