cultural, artistic, musical and the unique heritage enjoyed by Yemen, which is, according to his expression an adytum for Arab civilization and a source of enlightenment in the orient in aspects of cultural and artistic spheres. In his statement to 26 September, "Yemen is the cradle of Arab Nations," adding, Yemen's musical heritage stands for the origin of all Arab musical heritage. He highlighted the importance for preserving the heritage of this unique cultural and artistic heritage, which has become a historical and cultural for the sake of all nations, not the Arabs alone, or just Yemen. He went on to say, "the French people support all exerted efforts in Yemen, which aim to document and collect the musical heritage of Yemen. He further said, the support wont be confined for musical heritage alone, but it would touch all types of Yemeni heritage. Mr. Jote pointed out that there is cooperation between the French side and Yemeni Ministry of Culture for implementing a joint project targeting the preservation of Yemeni heritage. It is worth mentioning that the 1st phase of the project would renovate the historical buildings in Taiz and Aden as well as restoring some antiquities.  The French ambassador said that French side will train some Yemeni experts so as to contribute for creating new rules in the process of rehabilitation the historic buildings in Yemen.
