delegation of the Japanese universities who is currently visiting the country. The deputy governor discussed with the delegation contributions of those universities to restore several cultural sites in the governorate which were affected by the flood- hit the governorate last October of 2008. He highly appreciated the desire of the Japanese universities to contribute to restore the historical sites in Yemen, saying that the Hadramout valley enriches with cultural and historical sites. The head of the delegation voiced readiness of the universities to restore the historical sites that were affected by flood, saying that the delegation has conducted studies on some sites in the governorate and would show them for Japanese affairs ministry to start works of restoring in coming period.
