http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Yemen to Participate in 26th round of ASAMC [The Source: Sanaa/Saba News/Hadhramaut.info - 16/12/2006] SANA'A, Dec.16 (Saba)- Social Affairs Minister, Dr. Amat al-Razaq Ali Humad, left Sana'a Saturday to Cairo for participation in the 26th round of Arab Social Affairs Ministers Council (ASAMC) to be held on December 17-18. She will also participate in the 30th Coordinative Meeting of GCC Social Affairs Ministers started on Saturday, December 16. Upon departure, Humad made a statement to Saba that the meeting will discuss a number of topics and an understanding memo on joint cooperation in field of social development between GCC's ministries of social affairs and the Yemeni counterpart in light of the Yemeni five-year development plan (2006-2012). They will also discuss the Arab Strategy for Developing Social Work for the period 2011-2007. The meeting will also follow up carrying out the Arab Handicapped Contract and the report of Arab Children's Consultative Committee.
