Upon arrival, he stated to Saba that "there is no difference between the AFC and other local football unions that cause disputes between any the two sides." He noted that there are some people who want to make use of any dispute with the AFC for some personal interests, saying that "as for us we are trying to serve football in the Asian continental and this objective requires tens of years to be achieved so as to move forward."
