http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Russia to update Yemen's weapons [The Source: SANA'A\Hadhramaut\Saba - Tuesday -12/August/2014] The Chief of the Army Staff Major General Ahmad Ali al-Ashawal discussed on Tuesday with the Russian senior expert armament affairs and updating Yemeni weapons and equipments. The two parts also discussed improving mutual relations between the armies of the two brotherly countries in different fields, as well as the possibility of carrying out joint military training to both armies on Yemeni or Russian territories. While Al-Ashwal valued Russian efforts in supporting Yemen in different fields, the Russian senior military expert reaffirmed his country's support to Yemen, especially in combating terrorism. The Russian expert confirmed also intentions of absorbing greater number of Yemeni students in Russian military academies.
