http://www.english.hadhramaut.info GCC welcomes Hadi's call for national solidarity [The Source: SANA'A\Hadhramaut\Saba - Monday -28/JULY/2014] The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has welcomed President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi's call for an inclusive national solidarity among all Yemeni political forces and components. The GCC Mission in Sana'a commended ,in a statement issued on Sunday, the principles set by the President and mentioned in his speech on the eve of Eid al-Fitr to achieve the national solidarity, topped by the republican system, unity ,democratic approach and the national dialogue conference (NDC) outcomes. The mission called on all political forces and social components in the national arena to deal responsibly with the nature of the current difficult challenges facing the political process taking place in the country based on the GCC-brokered initiative and its mechanism. It considered that the achievement of the national solidarity according to the principles contained in the President's speech is an urgent national demand to create favorable conditions to complete the implementation of the Gulf initiative and move forward in achieving the desired political transition. In its statement, the mission confirmed the GCC's absolute support to all efforts of President Hadi to bring positions closer between all political forces ,parties and components, promote the spirit of national consensus and push towards the acceleration of the implementation of the NDC recommendations. In this regard, the mission cited the intensive and sincere efforts exerted by President Hadi to speed up the normalization of the security and humanitarian situation in Amran province through his balanced political rhetoric during his recent visit to the province and his call for closing the past page and opening a bright new page and directing efforts towards the construction and development. The mission stressed the need for the commitment of all political and social components to the implementation of the NDC outputs, which enjoy the support of the GCC countries and other international sponsors of the Gulf initiative and the care of all Yemeni people segments. Concluding its statement, the GCC mission expressed its congratulations to the Yemeni people and the political leadership represented by President Hadi on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, considering this great religious occasion an opportunity to inspire the values of love, tolerance and brotherhood and discard differences and hatred.
