Yemen discusses cooperation with Arab ,Islamic countries

Foreign Minister Jamal al-Salal on Thursday met separately with a number of Foreign Ministers and diplomats in the Arab and Islamic countries.
In the meetings, which were held on sidelines of the 41st session of the Foreign Ministers Council of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) that concluded today in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, al-Salal discussed with Foreign Ministers of Morocco, Sudan ,the UAE, Algeria, Nigeria, Tajikistan, and Deputy Foreign Minister of Indonesia and Ambassador for Special Assignments of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry the cooperation relations between Yemen and the country of each of them.
The meetings also touched on the developments at the regional and international arenas and the coordination of positions between Yemen and those countries towards the issues of common interest.
Al-Salal confirmed the keenness of Yemen to develop and expand the cooperation with the country of each of them.
The Foreign Minister reviewed during the meetings the developments at the Yemeni arena and the steps that have been achieved in the transition process, stressing the importance of the continued support of the brotherly and friendly countries to the efforts of President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi and the government to complete the transition based on the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanism and the UN Security Council resolutions.
The foreign ministers of the Arab and Islamic countries confirmed the depth and strength of ties between their country and Yemen, renewing their country's keenness to continue to support Yemen and its political leadership to ensure the success of the political process and to maintain Yemen's unity, security and stability.
