http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Yemeni-Chinese cooperation in transport discussed [The Source: SANA'A\Hadhramaut\Saba - Tuesday -10/JUNE/2014] Transport Minister Wai'd Ba Thib has discussed with Chinese ambassador to Yemen Chang Hua aspects of mutual cooperation between the two countries in transport field. Ba Thib welcomed the Chinese investments in Yemen in transport area, affirming that investors would get the overall needed support by the ministry. He pointed out that the ministry is committed to the agreement of operating Aden seaport by the Chinese side and praised the keenness of the Chinese government in supporting the development capabilities in Yemen, including transport field. The minister also made reference to his meetings with the Chinese officials, on the sidelines of his economic visit to China, that aimed to develop the bilateral cooperation and promote the economic partnership. For his part, the Chinese ambassador asserted his country's keenness to enhance the Yemeni-Chinese relations and noted to the desire of many Chinese investment companies to invest in Yemen, particularly in transport area.
