http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Human Rights Minister meets UN Assistant Secretary-General [The Source: NEW YORK\Hadhramaut\Saba - Saturday -31/May/2014 ] Minister of Human Rights Houria Mashhour met in New York on Saturday Sima Bahous, the UN Assistant Secretary-General. During the meeting, they discussed the positive developments of the human rights support project in the transitional phase, supported by the Swedish and Dutch governments. The project focuses on building the capacities of government and non-government human rights bodies, as well as supporting the establishment of an independent authority for human rights. They also touched on the National Dialogue Conference's (NDC) outcomes that are related to human rights, which the Ministry seeks to implement in cooperation with all development partners.
