http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Saudi newspaper: Yemen’s inside stability is stability for entire region [The Source: RIYADH\Hadhramaut\Saba - Sunday -11/May/2014] The Saudi newspaper "Al-Watan" has underlined that the stability of Yemen’s inside is a stability for the entire region, particularly its neighbour, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In the editorial of its Saturday issue titled (With Yemen ..to eliminate "Al-Qaeda"), the newspaper revealed that the Saudi security services has recently aborted a plot to revive Al-Qaeda in the country, with support of Al-Qaeda branch in Yemen and the "DAASH" organization in Syrian territory.. “ this means that the Al-Qaeda organization is still working and still dreaming to export chaos to most countries.” "All this, makes supporting Yemen in its war against Al-Qaeda a very necessary and important matter", the Saudi newspaper added. The newspaper affirmed the importance of the role played by the Yemeni army ,who is seeking with all its strength to cleanse the provinces of Abyan and Shabwa (the most important strongholds for "Al Qaeda") of armed elements. It also noted to the importance of the role which could be played by Yemeni tribes in the war against Al Qaeda. Concluding its editorial, the newspaper stressed the importance of completing the GCC-brokered initiative, saying " the desired perfection can not be realized without finding the political ground that enables Yemen to reach the formula that maintains its security, unity and territorial integrity."
