The discussions came in a meeting of Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi, Planning and International Cooperation Minister Mohammed al-Saadi, Managing Director of the Executive Bureau to Accelerate Absorption of Donors' Pledges Amat al-Alim Alsoswa with WB Country Director of Egypt, Yemen and Djibouti Hartwig Schafer and WB country manager to Yemen Weal Zakout. They discussed the new mechanism proposed by Yemen for the group's meetings, including the formation of the economic subgroup to be co-chaired by Yemen and the WB, besides the political and security subgroups, in order to activate the group's action in a way responds effectively to the National Dialogue Conference's (NDC) outcomes and the political process in Yemen. Moreover, the meeting touched on the cooperation programs between Yemen and WB in the development and economic areas, which were underscored to be continued with concentrating on other priority areas, such as energy and electricity.
