http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Parliament reviews bills on joining WTO [The Source: SANA'A\Hadhramaut\Saba - Tuesday -22/April/2014] The Parliament on Tuesday reviewed a bill provided by committees of the labor forces and social affairs regarding Yemen’s accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO). The bill, which targets amending the article (21) of the work law (5) for 1995, revokes the limited celling of hiring foreign labors by Yemeni businesses, as required by WTO. The Parliament delayed the discussion of this bill to a next session which will be attended by representative of the government. Moreover, the Parliament reviewed a bill provided by the Commerce and Industry Committee regarding its study on the protocol of Yemen’s accession to WTO. This bill aims to improve living standards and income of Yemenis, and development of production, trading and services.
