http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Armed forces restructuring issues reviewed [The Source: SANA'A\Hadhramaut\Saba - Wednesday -09/April/2014] The armed forces restructuring team held on Wednesday a joint meeting with the Jordanian military experts at the headquarters of the Military Affairs Committee. At the meeting, head of the restructuring team Brigadier General Nasser Al-Harbi confirmed that the team in conjunction with the specialist assistance teams had completed between 70 to 80 percent of draft laws and regulations and other documents relating to the re-organization and restructuring of the armed forces. In this regard, al-Harbi highly appreciated the efforts that have been made by the Jordanian experts during the past period, asserting that all the restructuring outcomes that have been completed would be translated in practice in the field so as to achieve the unity and cohesion , efficiency and effectiveness of the armed forces' units and its professional and qualitative construction. Issues pertaining to the functions and procedures of restructuring the armed forces institutions and the progress in the organization and modernization of the institution's various units were reviewed in the meeting. The meeting also touched upon the strategic vision of the armed forces transmission to the new structures according to the specified timetable. It also dealt with a number of key guidelines to ensure rebuilding and developing of the armed forces institution according to the scientific and national fundamentals so as to enable it to accomplish its constitutional duties.
