"The United States Embassy in Sana'a condemns in the strongest possible terms yesterday's attack," a statement issued by the U.S. Embassy in Sana'a read. The embassy described the attack as heinous and unprovoked act of violence, stressing that the attack and all other acts of violence occurred in Yemen as it moves forward with the political transition underscored the importance of sustained international support to the people and Government of Yemen. "We continue to stand firmly with the Yemeni people as they move forward with a peaceful transition that will build a better Yemen for themselves and for future generations."
