http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Interior Minister meets Turkish Ambassador [The Source: SANA'A\Hadhramaut\Saba - Thursday -27/March/2014]  Interior Minister Abdo al-Tarib met here on Wednesday with Turkish Ambassador to Yemen FazliCorman and officials of a Turkish telecommunication company. Al-Tarib commended the close historic ties between Yemen and Turkey, pointing out that they are currently witnessing increasing development. He also praised efforts exerted by Corman to enhance mutual relations. He affirmed that the Ministry of Interior will activate protocols of cooperation with the Turkish Ministry of Interior through holding qualification training and exchange of experiences. For his part, Corman lauded efforts of Yemen's Ministry of Interior in securing foreign embassies and interests, extending, in the meanwhile, his condolences to families of the victims of the terrorist attack in which 20 soldiers were killed in Hadramout. He further asserted that Turkey will stand by Yemen to combat terrorism and crime, citing that it increased the number scholarships provided to Yemen's police.
