Separately, the House heard the report of the committees on agriculture, irrigation and fisheries and development and oil resources about an agreement between Yemen and the Islamic Development Bank.
Under the agreement, the bank will contribute $15 million to finance the rural development project which aims to stimulate sustainable economic and infrastructure development in rural areas through the engagement of the local communities.
The project will enable communities to get sufficient drinking water and water resources to irrigate crops and improve the quality of their products.
Also, the House completed the review of the report on the safe maternity law draft which included items on care of women before and after marriage and pregnancy. The law draft will be debated later on.
Moreover, the House's committee on diesel shortages held a meeting and decided to summon the concerned authorities to clarify about current diesel shortages.
