The meeting aims to draw the world attention to the humanitarian crisis of Yemen and encourage the international donor to contribute to country's efforts to promote socio-economic development, according to a statement by the League. The meeting will gather the League's Assistant Secretary-General and Chairperson of the Social Affairs Sector Ambassador Fa'iqa Saeed Al-Saleh, the UN Resident Coordinator in Yemen, deputy director of the UN regional office for coordination of humanitarian affairs for the Middle East and North Africa, representative of Yemen Mohammad Hermel. The humanitarian response plan will be presented by representative of the World Health Organization in Yemen Dr Ahmed F. Shadoul, the statement added.
