http://www.english.hadhramaut.info President chairs meeting on voter register preparations [The Source: SANA’A\Hadhramaut\Saba - Thursday -13/March/2014]  President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi chaired on Thursday a meeting to discuss the ongoing preparations for implementing an voter register. The meeting was attended by UN Secretary-General Assistant and Special Adviser on Yemen Jamal Benomar, director of Presidency Office Nasr Taha Mustafa, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Elections Mohammed al-Hakimi, deputy Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Elections Khamis Al Deni and Charge d’Affaires of the UN Resident Representative Mohammad Hassan. During the meeting, they discussed the ongoing preparations for implementing a voter register, completing the registration system and working quickly to form committees and conduct tests for a referendum on the constitution and next national elections. President Hadi stressed the need to work hard in order to achieve the national goals, namely the implementation of the outputs of the comprehensive national dialogue conference and inauguration of a new era based on a six-region federal system for meeting the hopes and aspirations of the Yemeni people.
