http://www.english.hadhramaut.info HR minister meets WFP country director [The Source: SANA'A\Hadhramaut\Saba - Wednesday -12/March/2014] vHuman Rights Minister Horriah Mashhor met here on Wednesday with Bishow Parajuli, Representative and Country Director of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in Yemen. At their meeting, Mashhor reviewed tasks and efforts of the ministry in promoting and protecting human rights, noting to the output of the national dialogue related to the rights and freedoms, in addition to the ministry's action in the development and embodiment of those outputs with national and international partners. For his part, Parajuli pointed out to increasing the WFP supportt for Yemen in fields of education of girls, displaced persons and reduction of child labor. The WFP sponsors a meeting of Promoting Human Rights group through highlighting the national dialogue outputs along with the ministry, as well as recommendations of the periodic report, which was discussed in the Human Rights Council in Geneva in January.
