http://www.english.hadhramaut.info UK ambassador meets with Yemeni officials [The Source: SANA'A\Hadhramaut\Saba - Wednesday -12/March/2014] UK ambassador to Yemen Jane Marriott Wednesday met with Chairman of Yemen Customs Authority Mohamed Mansour Zimam and Chairman of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology Hamid Faraj. During the meeting, they discussed the security measures taken in Yemen’s airports, specially the Sana’a airport, as well as the procedures for resuming air traffic and cargo services between Yemen and Britain. Zimam and Faraj briefed the UK diplomat on steps taken since 2010 to strengthen security measures at Yemeni airports and to deal with any future threats as well as receiving many specialized technical teams from the European Union, Britain, the US and some Arab countries to make sure the effectiveness of the security measures that have been taken in the Yemeni airports.
