During the meeting, President Hadi welcomed the Buhra's Sultan, his sons and his accompanied delegation to Yemen, expressing his condolence on the death of his father "Sultan Burhanuddin". Hadi hailed the close relationship between Yemen and the Sultan of Buhra and his good contributions in different fields in Yemen. He welcomed the investments of Buhra sect in Yemen, pointing out that they will enjoy all facilities. The President noted that the Buhra sect members enjoy all respect and have the same rights and duties as Yemenis under the umbrella of the law. For his part, Sultan Sayfaddin expressed his appreciation of the warm reception, which - he said - reflects the keenness of President Hadi to maintain the strong brotherly relationship between the two sides, "a matter we are proud of." He stressed that he would continue his father's work to maintain the relationship and communication with Yemen, which he described as "a country of wisdom, faith, security and safety." President Hadi has sent his media adviser Mahbob Ali to attend the funeral of the father Sultan "Burhanuddin'', who died on 17 January at the age of 98, and the inauguration of his son Mufadhal Sayfaddin as his successor.
