President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi met here on Sunday with the Secretary
General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, Mohammed bin Ali Koman
who is currently visiting Yemen.
The visit came in the framework of strengthening cooperation and
relations between Yemen and the General Assembly of the Arab Interior
Ministers Council.
President Hadi welcomed Koman, praising his
efforts in promoting and activating the joint security work in the
framework of the general assembly and the Yemeni Ministry of the
Interior in order to create a partnership and integration to counter
crime and terrorist challenges and smuggling in all its types.
President Hadi stressed the need to develop appropriate strategies to end these challenges for countries in the gulf region.
For
his part, Koman expressed his happiness to meet President Hadi and
congratulated the Yemeni people for the great success of the national
dialogue conference which represents a landmark in the present and
future of Yemen.
He praised the cooperation between Yemen and
the General Assembly of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, valuing the
active role of the Yemen Ministry of Interior in the council in various
activities and events that aim to create stability desired by everyone.
He pointed out the importance of updating and activating community police as a basic foundation in community service.
