The republican decree No. 157 for 2013 was issued on Monday forming the Presidium of the Yemeni Scientific Linguistic Academy (YSLA) as follows:

1. Abdulaziz Saleh al-Maqalih as a President of the Academy;
2. Abdullah Hussein al-Bar as a Vice-President;
3. Yusuf Mohamed Abdullah as a Vice-President;
4. Aziz Thabet Saeed as a Vice-President;
5. Mahmoud Ibrahim al-Saghiry as a Secretary-General;
6. Mohamed Abdel-Salam Mansour as an Assistant Secretary-General.

Another republican decree No. 158 for 2013 was issued assigning Ahmed Saleh al-Sayad as an ambassador and permanent representative of Yemen to the United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
