SANA’A, July 15 (Saba)- President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi received on
Monday the non-resident ambassador of Bangladesh to Yemen, Syed Shahed
Reza, on the occasion of ending his tenure.
n the meeting, the President confirmed the depth of relations between
the two countries and need for the joint coordination on the issues of
common concern, especially with regard to the international relations.
The
president emphasized the need to activate the trade and investment
exchanging and coordination between the commercial chambers in the two
countries so as to serve the joint interests.
He also noted to
the necessity of cooperation in the field of shipbuilding industry, s
Bangladesh is from the pioneer countries in this field, as well as the
joint action to combat terrorism.
For his part, the ambassador
of Bangladesh expressed his thanks and appreciation to the president for
this meeting, praising the successes achieved by Yemen at the level of
the political settlement in light of the expositional efforts made by
President Hadi and the national political forces.
The ambassador
affirmed his keenness to exert efforts to coordinate and activate the
relations in the economic and trade field so as to strengthen the
bilateral relations between the two countries.
