President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi on Sunday said that no one can impede the progress of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC)
this evening at the republican palace for
the NDC's presidency and members on the occasion of the advent of the
holy month of Ramadan and the end of the NDC's second phase.
Making
reference to the current situation in the country, the President said
that our economic and political and security situation is difficult and
complicated, underlining the country's need to benevolent and sincere
efforts and not to sabotage attacks on electricity and oil pipelines or
blocking roads.
Addressing those who - as he said - believe that
sabotage acts would disrupt dialogue, saying "We tell you publicly that
no force or group can hamper the progress of the National Dialogue
Conference, no matter how many follies and immorality have been
committed against the rights of the Yemeni people, who recognizes all
kinds of terrorist methods connected to the narrow interests of
influential people who accustomed to violate the law, order and the
people's rights."
President stressed that the people want
security, stability and to go forward and not backward. He said that
after all differences and conflicts among the political powers, "they
are all today under one roof and sitting at the dialogue table and those
differences have melted and turned into discussions for a better
future."
He said that Yemen was very lucky as it, with all his
political forces, went to peace and reached a roadmap taking them out of
the crisis to safety with an unprecedented international, regional and
UN support.
He urged the NDC's members to make encouraging and
decisive actions that assure resolving the South and Sa'ada issues and
to reach a document to be included in the basics of the new Yemen's
constitution.
"Today we are in this room, thanks to the youths
who stood up for a better future," the president said, adding that we
are today in a new stage, where we must do every effort sincerely and
honestly for a new and better Yemen and in order to fulfill the
ambitions of the whole Yemeni people, topped by the youths.
