President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi on Sunday received reports of the achievements of the two committees addressing land disputes and dismissed personnel in the southern provinces.
During his meeting with the committees' members in the republican palace in Sana'a, the President reviewed with the members the procedures and achievements made so far according to the republican decree of the committees' formation and functions.

Hadi praised the efforts the committees' members have made to date, stressing the importance of their works, because it is pertaining to justice, rights restitution and granting full financial and moral compensations.

The committees are fully empowered to carry out the tasks as stipulated in the decree, he said, emphasizing the need for full cooperation with the committees by all ministries, establishments and authorities in order to succeed their tasks.

Some of the committees' members talked about the work progress. The committee of the dismissed personnel said that it has accomplished over 90% of its tasks, adding that what is only left are the practical procedures for final implementation to its recommendations.

The land disputes committee said that it has made great progress and defined the basic parameters to reach final achievement, accentuating that work is underway to complete the all procedures and make the executive decisions.

For achieving reconciliation, President Hadi issued last January decree No. 2 for 2013 forming the two committees, which have to probe, in less than a year, into all the complaints taken place between 1990 to the date of issuance, according to the decree.

The decree obligates the committees to publicize their all measures and decisions and to submit a three-month report on the achievement progress to the President, who, in return, refers them to the government for implementation.

By the end of the deadline, they have to hand over another report to the President contains in details their works' outcomes, recommendations and proposals that such violations not to be occurred again.
