They touched on the possibility of Chinese companies’ investment in Yemeni islands and ways of strengthening cooperation in the field of training and rehabilitation for the Yemeni cadres in the tourism field. Sallam expressed his appreciation for the role played by China in helping Yemen and its support to different socioeconomic development paths in Yemen. He hailed the keenness of the Chinese government on succeeding the national dialogue aiming at achieving the security and stability in Yemen. For his part, the Chinese ambassador confirmed his country’s keenness on supporting the development process and the paths of the political settlement in Yemen. He noted that many Chinese companies have started returning to work in Yemen as the situation improved.
