http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Education Minister returns to Sana'a [The Source: Mukalla/Hadramoutinfo/Saba.net - 1/2/2013] Minister of Education Abdul Razzaq al-Ashwal returned to Sana’a Friday after participation in the Global Forum on educational policies, which was held in London during (January 27-30). Al-Ashwal told Saba that the forum, which was attended by one hundred ministers, dealt with the electronic-learning and quality in education, and the need to provide enrollment and access for all students in education, in addition to displaying some experiences of the participating countries in many areas of modern teaching. He added that it was agreed with the British Council in London to develop a plan and a road map by which to proceed on two tracks, the first is the development of English Language Teaching from the seventh grade until the twelfth with all its components, and the second track includes developing a plan sets requirements for the implementation of English language teaching from the fourth grade. The minister pointed out that the British Council will begin within two weeks the announcement of the arrival of advisory team to Sana’a and in partnership with it the plan will be developed and considered in its requirements.
