Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Iqbal Bahadir told Saba that this project will provide information and statistics on all the activities and businesses in the country. The project will make it easier for investors to identify the various activities and investment opportunities and will help researchers and those interested in obtaining information for studying and evaluating economic activities, as well as providing basic data for decision makers for the economic policy-making. Bahadir considered this project one of the most important national acts that will serve the economic development goals. He pointed out that the second phase will be implemented after presenting it to the supporting parties in the government and donors. The project will provide comprehensive coverage of the services provided by the Ministry of Industry to the customer electronically, Bahadir added. The project is a unified system gives customers unchangeable national numbers, and its first phase targets the commercial register, which is a linking step between the client and the ministry.
