http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Parliament transmits bill on transitional justice to committees for studying [The Source: Mukalla/Hadramoutinfo/Saba.net - 7/1/2013] The Parliament approved on Monday transmitting of a draft law on transitional justice and national reconciliation to the competent committees for studying it. This came after the Parliament listened to the bill and discussed it in terms of the principle and included it in its agenda according to a letter from President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi on finalizing the constitutional measures to pass the draft law. In his letter, President Hadi urged the parliament to discuss and approve the draft law and to submit it to him to be issued according to the Gulf initiative and in light of the resolutions of the Security Council and the Human Rights Council related to Yemen. The bill aims to emphasize the political transition in Yemen on the basis of the values of tolerance and forgiveness and maintaining the rights of victims reaching to achieve the national reconciliation.
